§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyThe Radioactive Substances Act 1960 provides in section 8(5)(b) for restriction of knowledge of an authorisation for disposal of radioactive waste should the Minister or Ministers concerned consider it necessary for reasons of national security. It is not Government policy to reveal the existence of any such restricted authorisation.
