§ Mrs. Virginia Bottomley[holding answer 16 January 1989]Supplementary notice to importers and exporters No. 6, which superseded advice given in earlier notices to importers and exporters, was issued in April 1987. Comprehensive details of infractions of article 6 of EC regulation 3626/82 brought to the attention of the Department are not available. Since 7 November possible infractions have been brought to the notice of the Department; five have been referred to the enforcement authorities for any appropriate action; and two are under consideration within the Department.
