§ Mr. Clelland
To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what total annual budget he envisages for the 100 training and enterprise councils outlined in the White Paper "Employment for the 1990s".

§ Mr. Cope
"Employment for the 1990s" indicated that the annual budget to each TEC would range between £15 million and £50 million, depending on the size of the TEC. Most of the budget would be programme money but it also included costs of administration.
