To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many complaints he has received concerning Concorde's sonic boom from persons living in west Cornwall for each of the years 1985, 1986, 1987 and 1988.

The booms are normally heard during the winter. The figures for the whole of Cornwall for each winter season (November-April) are as follows:
