§ Mr. Donald ThompsonThe Government's proposals for a new statutory order to protect the welfare of horses at markets, sales and fairs, and for a code of practice, were issued for comment to interested organisations in November. Following consideration of comments received, we will complete the new legislation and code of practice later this year.
