§ The Prime MinisterThe Government have consistently supported the work of the Court of Auditors. In particular, we were instrumental in ensuring that the court's annual reports are formally considered by the Council of Economic and Finance Ministers. We shall continue to press for appropriate follow-up action on the court's specific recommendations.
