§ Mr. Michael Forsyth[holding answer 10 January 1989]: Lothian health board has been given an additional £14.936 million over and above its initial allocation for 1988–89 to allow it to meet the cost of the pay awards to nurses and other staff covered by the review bodies. Allocations to health boards for 1989–90 have not yet been made.
