To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the total consumption of water for each year since 1979 for domestic and commercial consumers in the Thames Water Authority area.

Information in the form requested is not available. However, since 1979–80 the amount of water supplied to all consumers in the Thames Water Authority area has been as follows:
