Mr. Rooker

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport (1) what time and on what date in December 1988 he was first aware of the warning issued by the Federal Aviation Administration in respect of a possible sabotage threat to a Pan Am flight from Europe to the United States;

(2) at what level in his Department decisions are taken regarding the passing on to airport and airline operators of warnings of possible sabotage threats received from overseas;

(3) at what time and what date in December 1988 his Department passed to the BAA notices of possible sabotage threats issued by the Federal Aviation Administration of the United States;

(4) what restrictions in respect of circulation were placed upon warnings received by his Department in December 1988 from the Federal Aviation Administration regarding a possible sabotage threat to a Pan Am flight from Europe to the United States.
