§ Mr. ButcherThe relevant statistical projections contained in the public expenditure White Paper are:
141WSince the public expenditure White Paper was written, provisional information has shown that the proportion of 16-year-olds staying on in full-time education has risen from 46 per cent. to 49 per cent. between 1987 and 1988. Future projections will take account of this and other information as it becomes available.
