§ Mrs. RumboldEstimates made by the London borough of Wandworth are a matter for that borough. The Department is discussing with the inner London boroughs generally the basis of the revised needs assessments for education from 1 April 1990 and an appropriate disaggregation of ILEA spending. The cost of running education after transfer will depend on the policies adopted by each borough and the efficiency with which they are delivered.
