§ Mr. Douglas HoggThere have been two apparent suicides at Risley since 1 June 1988 (one was subsequently confirmed as such at the inquest, and the other inquest has yet to be held). During the same period seven apparent attempts at suicide and one incident of self-injury which was not thought to be a suicide attempt have been reported.
