§ The Prime MinisterThe outlook for the Falkland Islands continues to be stable and secure and is increasingly prosperous. Our determination to defend the islanders' right to decide their own future, and live their own lives in peace, remains as firm as ever. I have no hesitation in reiterating the Government's commitment to the integrity and freedom of the Islands. We shall not negotiate on sovereignty.
