§ Mr. TrippierThe setting up of Bristol development corporation was held back by a petition against it. It came into legal existence on 19 January 1989 and became the development control authority for its area on 20 February 1989. The corporation has stimulated considerable interest in its area and the inquiries it is receiving promise well for the future.
