§ Mr. MichaelTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list all those water supplies in Wales which 405W currently fail to meet the standards set out in the EEC directives on the quality of drinking water and whether or not these are subject to derogations; how and when it is proposed for each of those water supplies to meet the standards laid down; and what is the estimated cost of complying with the standards in each case.
§ Mr. Wyn RobertsFor the supplies covered by derogations I refer the hon. Gentleman to the reply given on 3 February to the hon. Member for Gateshead, East (Ms. Quin).

For these supplies improvement programmes have been submitted which should mean that most of those sources will comply with the directive by 1992.
