To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he will rank the major American, Japanese and European companies in the electronics and telecommunications markets by total group sales.

According to the 1988–89 edition of "The Times 1000" publication, the international ranking by group sales or turnover of the top 10 major electronics and telecommunications companies, excluding postal and telephone systems operators, is as follows:
