§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThe central health monitoring unit is in the process of being established. A full-time director has been appointed at senior medical officer level but the final staffing arrangements have not yet been completed. The need for the collection of new forms of morbidity data is one of the issues the unit will address during the course of its work. The question of resources for any new data collection will be dealt with as issues arise.
