The table sets out hospital and community health services current expenditure figures from 1983–84 adjusted by the hospital and community health services pay and price deflator for the years in which it is available. These figures do not take account of income from cash releasing cost improvements which, in the years shown, provided a significant contribution to the total resources available for service development.
