§ Mr. LeeThe English tourist board's "Tourism Investment Reports" show that the total amount spent on hotel building, extension and refurbishment projects, with a value of £0.5 million or more, that were completed in 1988 was £319 million. Investment in such projects which were still under construction on 31 December 1988 was £730 million.
