Mr. Spearing

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport when he expects to make an announcement concerning his conclusions following receipt of the study of alternative designs for the proposed east London river crossing bridge; and if he will place a copy of the study in the Library.

I expect to receive the consultant's report later this month. I shall make an announcement as soon as possible. I shall then place a copy of the report in the Library of the House.
