To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the number of caravan sites not licensed by local authorities operated under the auspices of voluntary organisations in Scotland.

Thirty-eight sites are operated in Scotland by organisations holding certificates of exemption from the Secretary of State issued under paragraph 12 of the first schedule to the Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act 1960.
