§ Mr. Christ PattenMy Department has commissioned three research projects into the socio-economic impact of AIDS in developing countries: "A review of sources on sexual behaviour"; "Traditional Health practitioners and the spread of the HIV virus"; and "Community coping mechanisms in circumstances of exceptional demographic change". In addition, we are funding a major research project on the demographic and economic impact of AIDS in developing countries.
