HL Deb 09 February 1989 vol 503 cc1745-6WA
Lord Kennet

asked Her Majesty's Government:

In what sense would it be "premature to put a value" on the land which is expected to be surplus to privatised water company requirements (Official Report, 16th January, col. 98.).

Lord Hesketh

As part of the preparation for flotation, work is being set in hand to establish, for each company, the position as regards surplus land. Any information on surplus land material to an investor's decision to acquire shares will be contained in the listing particulars published at the time of flotation.
