§ 82. Mr. FavellTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what action Her Majesty's Government are undertaking to prevent the return of the Khmer Rouge to power in Cambodia.
§ Mr. EggarWe are supporting efforts to promote a political settlement in which the Cambodian people are free to choose their own Government. We make clear our view that world opinion would not tolerate the return to power of those responsible for the atrocities of the period of Khmer Rouge rule.
