§ Dr. MawhinneyGrant on category A expenditure by each voluntary grammar school in any school year is directly related to the number of approved teaching posts in the school.
§ Mr. HumeTo ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what information is available to the Department of Education to indicate the level of funding to any given secondary school in Northern Ireland or the pattern of funding among those schools.
§ Dr. MawhinneyAs voluntary grammar schools are funded direct, the Department has detailed information about the level of funding to individual schools. In the case of other secondary schools non-teaching costs are funded by education and library boards and teaching costs by the Department of Education, but total funding levels to individual schools are at present not available centrally.
