§ Mr. HowardMore than 95 per cent. of the population of England and Wales are connected directly or indirectly 529W to the public sewer network. No comprehensive information is available on the proportion of domestic properties served by sewers adopted by water authorities under sections 17 and 18 of the Public Health Act 1936, or which remain unadopted.
