Mr. Cohen

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy (1) whether the Central Electricity Generating Board or his Department has calculated the fissile plutonium content of the approximately 18 tonnes of fuel discharged from Berkeley reactor 1 between 4 April and 17 July;

(2) on what dates in 1987, 1988 and 1989 Bradwell nuclear power station was refuelled; if he will give the figures for fuel discharged and loaded; and if he will make a statement;

(3) whether the Central Electricity Generating Board or his Department has calculated the amount of fissile plutonium in irradiated fuel discharged from Bradwell nuclear power station between January 1987 and January 1989; and if he will make a statement;

(4) what is the typical period or length of time that the fuel remains in the core of a typical Magnox nuclear power reactor; and if he will make a statement.
