To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will outline the British contribution to NATO.

The United Kingdom contributes to all three legs of NATO's triad of forces (strategic nuclear, theatre nuclear, and conventional) and commits forces to all three major NATO commanders. The nature of this contribution is described in more detail in the "Statement on the Defence Estimates 1988".
