§ Mr. AshleyTo ask the Prime Minister whether, in the light of her answer to the right hon. Member for Stoke on Trent, SouthOfficial Report, 29 November 1988, column 178, she will take steps to ensure that the Department of Health will not seek crown immunity from prosecution for health authorities when the anticipated controls on pollution emissions come into effect.
§ The Prime MinisterI confirm that we do not intend there to be any crown immunity for health authorities in respect of the proposed new controls on emissions to the atmosphere.
