§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe Audit Commission recommendations contain valuable guidelines for improved value for money in the use of police resources. The Home Office and Her Majesty's inspectors of constabulary will fully support and encourage chief officers of police and police authorities in implementing the recommendations.
