§ Mr. GristDetails of the hourly rates paid by Welsh health authorities for locum services are not collected centrally. The health authorities' annual accounts do not disaggregate expenditure on locum services within hospitals from overall expenditure on such services. During 1987–88 the total expenditure on medical locum services by each District Health Authority in Wales was as follows:
