Mr. Corbyn

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many Jamaican nationals have(a) been interviewed and (b) refused entry to the United Kingdom for each month since January 1989; and what are the annual figures for each year since 1979.

The available information is given in the table. All Jamaican citizens are interviewed on admission. Figures for those subjected to further examination are not available centrally and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost.
