HC Deb 14 December 1989 vol 163 c811W
16. Mr. Flannery

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he has any plans to meet the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Ireland.

Mr. Brooke

It is currently planned that the next meeting of the Anglo-Irish Intergovernmental Conference will take place in January. I have no plans at present to meet the Taoiseach. I paid him a courtesy call in Dublin before the last Intergovernmental Conference on 30 November.
