(2) how many Irish Republican Army members currently serving sentences of life imprisonment enjoy category B status apart from the six men convicted after the Birmingham pub bombings.
§ Mr. MellorThere are at present in prisons in England and Wales 37 prisoners convicted of terrorist offences believed to have been carried out by the IRA. Twenty-four are serving life sentences, one (excluding the Birmingham Six) not being in category A.
