Mr. Vaz

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will list all the prisons in the United Kingdom in order of the number of prisoners they currently hold, stating the numbers they are built to hold and the percentage overcrowding.

The information requested is set out in the table in respect of prison service establishments in England and Wales. Responsibility for prisons in Scotland and Northern Ireland rests with my right hon. Friends the Secretaries of State for Scotland and for Northern Ireland respectively.
