§ The Prime MinisterI regularly meet business people and other individuals concerned with private charitable activity. My attention has also been drawn to the 12th edition of "Charitable Trends" recently published by the Charities Aid Foundations who have suggested ways of increasing further charitable giving by both private individuals and companies. I know that my right hon. and learned Friend the Home Secretary and my noble Friend the Paymaster General have had contact with the Council for Charitable Support and others on this subject.
