§ Mr. AlisonThe commissioners have no responsibility for the training of the clergy, and their funds are not available for the purpose. However, I understand that the latest figure (for 1988) was £3.9 million, though I must explain that this relates exclusively to ordination training. Should my hon. Friend wish to pursue his interest in this area, I will willingly give him the name and address of the body with which he should correspond.
