§ Mrs. RumboldMy right hon. Friend is aware of the announcement made in October by Bradford LEA postponing its magnet schools programme. In subsequent discussions with officials of the Department, the LEA confirmed that it wished my right hon. Friend to proceed with his consideration of its supplementary bids for funds to support the programme, in preparation for a commencement in September 1991.
