§ Mr. WigleyTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make it his policy to raise at the European summit meeting in Strasbourg with his French counterpart(a) the prospects of France joining the 1968 nuclear non-proliferation treaty, (b) the policy of the French Government regarding a comprehensive nuclear test ban treaty and (c) the possibility of a joint Anglo-French officials working party to bilaterally discuss the non-proliferation treaty and test ban treaty.
§ Mr. MaudeMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs does not intend to raise these matters at the European Council meeting in Strasbourg.
