§ Mr. Peter LloydMy right hon. and learned Friend has no plans at present for any changes in the composition of, or access to, the Police Complaints Authority. My right hon. Friend the Member for Witney (Mr. Hurd) announced on 27 June 1987 at column 396 our intention to make a number of changes in the arrangements for dealing with complaints against the police—including some changes in the powers of the Police Complaints Authority—in response to recommendations set out in the authority's triennial review 1985–88.
