§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Health (Baroness Hooper)The Department of Health produces information leaflet G11, which advises consumers of their rights under Section 26 of the Opticians Act 1989 with regard to prescriptions, paying for sight tests and purchasing spectacles. Copies of this leaflet are available from opticians, clinics, National Health Service hospitals and local social security offices.
