For how long they propose to extend the lifetime of the Magnox power stations and when they expect to receive the views of the Nuclear Installations Inspectorate on this proposal; and
How much funding they consider "justifiable" to extend the lifetime of the Magnox power stations.
§ Viscount UllswaterIt will be for Nuclear Electric to make proposals for life extension of Magnox stations, subject to the requirements of the Nuclear Installations Inspectorate. The Government will consider capital approval of such proposals in the light of these requirements.
