§ Mr. AtkinsThe exclusion and readmission of individuals at the current inquiry into the Al2 Hackney to M11 link road are matters for the independent inspector.
Several people have been excluded to prevent further disruption of proceedings. Their names are not known to the Department.
§ Mr. Chris SmithTo ask the Secretary of State for Transport when he expects the proceedings of the M11 extension inquiry to be concluded; and what assurances he has received that all points of view will be properly aired and fully considered during the inquiry.
§ Mr. AtkinsThe inquiry will conclude when the independent inspector is satisfied that he has heard all statutory objectors and those others with material points who, at his discretion, he chooses to hear. The inspector has already announced that this will mean the continuation of the inquiry in the new year.
