§ Mr. John PattenMinisters and officials have frequent discussions with a range of individuals and groups about Government support to charities and other matters affecting the voluntary sector. On 17 October my right hon. and noble Friend the Earl Ferrers, my noble Friend the Paymaster General and I met members of the Council for Charitable Support to discuss a number of issues relating to charity.
