§ Mr. Alfred MorrisTo ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will give an assurance that the ex-gratia payments of £20,000 to people with haemophilia who have been infected with the AIDS virus in the course of National Health Service treatment will be made to them before Christmas.
§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyWe are urgently considering with the Macfarlane Trust the best method of implementing these payments and we intend that they should be made as soon as possible.
