§ Mr. MellorApart from the Department's standing dental advisory committee, the Department's chief dental officer, who is a member of the General Dental Council keeps, in close touch with the academic and professional leaders of the dental profession. Officials maintain close relations with the officers and senior officials of the British Dental Association and negotiate with the general dental services committee which represents all general dental practitioners.
