§ The Prime MinisterThe United Kingdom is one of four states developing alternative approaches for a future hazardous and noxious substances convention. These alternatives will be considered by the Internation Maritime Organisation's legal committee at its meeting in 1990. The Department of Transport is to host a meeting to discuss the common elements of the four alternatives in May.
