§ Mr. MellorThe sum of £31 million will be made available through the waiting list fund in 1989–90. Of this, £25.3 million has already been allocated to regional and special health authorities to fund projects aimed at reducing the time patients have to wait for hospital treatment. The remaining £5.7 million will be targeted, through regions, at health districts with particular waiting problems.
