§ Mr. Nicholls[holding answer 11 April 1989]: The Health and Safety Executive is currently undertaking a study with the aim of developing a design and assessment 438W framwork for safety-related computer software. It is due to be completed in June 1989, when it is intended the proposals will be published, to allow wider commentary before being finalised.
