§ Mr. LuceI believe that great opportunities exist for local businesses to encourage arts management. This was the reason behind the business in the arts scheme launched by the Association for Business Sponsorship of the Arts last year, with my support.
The three strands of the scheme provide for advice tailored to the needs of arts organisations (through the enterprise agency network), management training and placing business volunteers within arts bodies.
